CHICAGO, IL - Succezz is “A Way of Life Environment” bringing an exclusive selection of sneakers and designer apparel from around the world to Chicago’s South Loop. There is something for everyone and “Sneaker Heads” will be in sneaker heaven when stepping into Succezz.
Chicago native and NBA Milwaukee Bucks Forward Bobby Simmons teamed up with fashion connoisseur Lavelle “V-Dot” Sykes to launch SuccezZ. Sykes has more than fifteen-years in the footwear and urban apparel industry. “Sneaker design and construction have grown to a new level - kids search all over the country for a one of a kind pair of sneakers,” says Sykes.
The sneaker culture has become a pop culture phenomenon for all ages and ethnicities around the world. According to the National Sporting Goods Association, retail sales of athletic footwear reached $17.4 billion last year with sneakers increasing the most by 11% to $2.7 billion and fashion sneakers increasing 8% to $958 million.
“In the midst of violence that has continuously perpetuated throughout the Chicago area, we wanted to provide a place for the youth and subconsciously inspire them to achieve and stay driven,” said co-owner, Bobby Simmons.
