GRAND OPENING: SUCCEZZ BOUTIQUE
ENTREPRENEUR AND PRO-ATHLETE PARTNER IN FASHION TO HELP INSPIRE THE YOUTH
Chicago, IL – Fashion connoisseur, Lavelle Sykes and Milwaukee Bucks basketball player, Bobby Simmons take the level of success to a new echelon with the V.I.P grand opening of SuccezZ: A Way of Life Environment Boutique to media only from 6-10 p.m., Friday, June 20, 2008 and open to the public from 6-10 p.m., Saturday, June 21, 2008 at 1329 South Michigan.
“In the midst of violence that has continuously perpetuated throughout the Chicago area, we wanted to provide a place for the youth and subconsciously inspire them to achieve and stay driven,” said co-owner, Bobby Simmons.
SuccezZ, a high-end boutique, is a new envisioned store founded by Lavelle Sykes and Bobby Simmons. A fashion haven that appeals to a widespread demographic has garnered an eclectic assortment of styles to cater to all fashion-conscious alike and hopes to influence the youth who lacks positive influences, and exemplify optimism and ways to become successful.
Sykes started his career at Tony’s Sports, previously one of Chicago’s major urban retail stores. After managing and buying for five Tony’s Sports locations he helped open and establish Self-Conscious and Encore by VDot in the last three years. Both boutiques were successful and sparked Sykes to partner with his longtime friend for over a decade, Simmons, who currently plays for the Milwaukee Bucks.
